Breast Augmentation with autologous Fat in Cologne: naturally beautiful Breasts
A woman’s individual ideal of beauty can lead to the desire for breast augmentation. An enlargement of several cups is not always necessary. If the breast is to grow by half a cup to a whole cup size, foreign bodies such as silicone breast implants can also be avoided.
In breast augmentation with autologous fat (also known as breast enlargement with autologous fat), the body’s own fat is transferred from another part of the body, usually the hips or abdomen, into the breast. This creates a natural result. The breast is moderately enlarged by the autologous fat and feels very natural even after the procedure. Breast surgery with autologous fat leaves no visible scars.
You can read all about breast augmentation with autologous fat at the PALMKLINK in Cologne, the advantages and disadvantages and aftercare on this page. However, we will of course advise you personally before the procedure. Together with you, we will find the right method for you.

Medical Requirements for Breast Augmentation with autologous Fat
There are various breast operations that can be considered as part of breast augmentation. The best known is probably breast augmentation with breast implants. In addition, autologous fat can also be used for breast augmentation.
Breast augmentation is not always necessary. After pregnancy or due to weak connective tissue, the breasts can sag slightly. A breast lift can then bring the breasts back into shape. A new method is the breast lift with the inner bra.
The desire for an enlargement is not always the reason for a visit to our practice. After cancer, we help patients with breast reconstruction. If the natural breasts are too large, this can lead to health problems. A breast reduction can then be considered. This wish is not just for women – a reduction can also help men with gynecomastia to feel more self-confident.
Procedure for Breast Augmentation with autologous Fat
The process of breast augmentation with autologous fat can be divided into four steps.
Step 1: Liposuction of the buttocks, abdomen or hips
For breast augmentation with autologous fat, fat cells are first removed from areas such as the hips, stomach or bottom after a detailed consultation. In addition to breast augmentation, smaller problem areas can also be corrected with liposuction.
For liposuction, saline solution is injected under the skin. This causes the fat cells to swell and separate from the connective tissue. The cells can be sucked out via a cannula. The incisions required for this are only a few millimetres in size and are hardly or not at all visible later on.
Either the patient is given a local anesthetic with saline solution or the entire procedure is performed under general anesthesia. We will discuss this with you individually.
Step 2: Preparing the autologous fat for breast augmentation
The removed fat tissue requires preparation before it can be injected into the breast. The fat cells are separated from the remaining fluid. This separation process is called centrifugation. About half of the previously removed body fluid remains.
Step 3: Breast augmentation by injecting autologous fat
After preparation, the fatty tissue is injected into the breast via the underbust fold using appropriate cannulas. Depending on the desired size, several sessions may be necessary for the transplantation, with an interval of at least three months.
Step 4: Aftercare for a lasting result of breast reconstruction
For a beautiful, long-lasting result, you should take it easy for three to four days after breast augmentation with autologous fat. You should also avoid sport and lifting heavy objects for three weeks. You will receive advice on scar care and compression garments in a personal consultation during your aftercare.
