Thread lifting Cologne: Non-surgical procedure for wrinkle reduction
Over time, the skin and tissue lose their firmness and elasticity. This leads to wrinkles and sagging facial areas. Many people are unhappy with this and want a change. More and more people want to rejuvenate their face without undergoing surgery.
Non-surgical alternatives are therefore preferred: thread lifting has become a very good alternative to a classic facelift. Special threads are inserted into the tissue to create a tightening effect. This creates a rejuvenating effect, emphasizing certain areas of the face and smoothing out wrinkles.

Thread lifting – the treatment process
First, the areas of the face to be lifted are cleaned and disinfected. Then the treatment points are marked on the skin and the areas are locally anesthetized. If desired, you can also be put into twilight sleep. The procedure takes about an hour in total. As soon as the anesthesia takes effect, we insert special threads under your skin using a small cannula. The threads are placed along the specified positions and gently tightened at the same time. This lifts the sunken areas of the skin and smooths out wrinkles.
The threads have small cones that adhere well to the tissue. Both the threads and the cones are broken down by your body over time. Thread lifting has a dual effect: on the one hand, the threads tighten the skin, and on the other hand, they stimulate the body’s own production of new collagen. The threads are broken down and new collagen is produced where the threads were. This makes the effect particularly long-lasting—even after the threads have disappeared.

Thread lifting aftercare
Patients can leave the practice immediately after treatment. During follow-up care, it is important to reduce any minor swelling by applying a cold compress: cooling pads or a damp, cool cloth are best suited for this purpose. We recommend ibuprofen as a painkiller.
You should refrain from wearing makeup for the first 24 hours. After a few days, you will be ready to go out in public again. Everyday, small facial movements are fine and even desirable, as they help the stitches to set and the face to form well. However, you should avoid strong facial movements, physical exertion, and massages for around two weeks.

We charge a fee of €80 for the consultation. If treatment is provided immediately, the consultation fee is reduced to €40.

Slight bruising is possible, but these symptoms usually subside within a few days.
