Buttock Lift in Cologne – your Way to a firm Bottom
For most people, a firm, shapely bottom is a symbol of attractiveness and youth. However, only a few people have such a bottom by nature or are able to maintain it even after weight fluctuations, heavy weight loss or pregnancy. The natural ageing process also causes our tissue to sag and takes away the elasticity and volume of the buttocks. Many people are unhappy with their bottom and want a change. A buttock lift gives the buttocks a tight, beautiful curve.
At the PALMKLINIK in Cologne, we can help you get back to a better body image with a buttock lift. You can find initial information on this page. You will receive detailed and personal advice in a non-binding consultation.

Butt Lift – Treatment Procedure
In a classic buttock lift (butt lift), which is used for severely sagging tissue and excess volume, an incision is made above the buttocks – at the transition to the lumbar region. The excess skin and fatty tissue is removed here so that the buttocks can be tightened and lifted. Depending on what is specifically possible for you, the lift can also be applied to the lateral thighs. This reshapes the transition from the lower back to the buttocks area.
There is also the option of a mini buttock lift. In this case, the incision is made in the lower buttock crease. This small incision, which is less visible, allows the excess skin to be removed without leaving visible scars. A mini buttock lift is a good choice for patients who only have a small amount of excess skin and fatty tissue.

Butt Lift and Liposuction
Liposuction can also be performed as part of a buttock lift. If you have unwanted fat deposits, liposuction will optimize the result in addition to the buttock lift. We will perform a further shape correction to create the desired target shape.
Buttock Lift – Aftercare
A plaster bandage will be applied immediately after the operation. This procedure may also result in bruising or accumulation of wound fluid after the operation. You should wear your compression trousers for the next six weeks to prevent swelling and ensure that you get the best results from the operation.
You will normally only need to stay in hospital for a few days. If you are in pain, you can take painkillers. It is normal if you experience a slight feeling of tension in the operation area. You should treat the skin and scars with oily creams to counteract the feeling of tightness and visible scarring. It is important that you exercise and rest carefully for the next four to five weeks. After about two weeks you can return to work and after five to six weeks you can resume sports activities.
Risks of a Buttock Lift

- Postoperative bleeding

- Circulatory or wound healing disorders
- Bulging, very pronounced scars
- Asymmetry of the buttock halves
